Parental Involvement

At Ardler Primary School, parental involvement is welcomed and recognised as being essential in developing a strong partnership between parents, carers and school.  We communicate regularly through our email, Seesaw and our weekly Padlet to allow parents and carers to keep up to date with what is happening in school and with their children's learning.  We also email reminders of any events happening in school or nursery.

Throughout the school year we have class assemblies, Stay and Share events and family learning opportunities where parents/carers are invited into the school to see their children's learning. We have a number of parents who regularly volunteer and help in educational excursions and we are always in need of your support.

Our very supportive Parent Council hold regular meetings and organise events throughout the year such as a Christmas Disco and Santa's Secret Shop, Leaver's Disco... You can contact our Parent Council Chairperson, Mary O'Connor at pcardler@dundee.npfs.org.uk

Research has shown that children do better if their parents and carers are involved in their education. Whatever the involvement may be it is greatly appreciated and welcomed.
